You can get twilight on android [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid...], or redshift on linux (flux is also available, but redshift is more functional). I think f.lux is available for jailbroken ios devices, as well.

I use EasyEyez on Android. It has a Tasker hook so you can set it to turn on at certain times. The deactivation is slightly buggy though so i have to turn it off each morning with a single tap on my homescreen.
